I'm Still In Bed [Apr. 17th, 2003|01:37 pm]
That Deceitful Bohemian Delilah
[Current Mood |uncomfortableuncomfortable]
[Current Music |nothing]

My parents woke me up at the normal time this morning.
By 7:24 I decided that I didn't want to go to school today.
So my mom called the office, and I went right back to sleep.

It's 1:39 and I only woke up a few minutes ago.
I slept through almost the entire school day.

Now, just tell me why I feel so guilty about it?

I know how you feel... I stayed home today partially because I'm sick, but mostly because I had a lot of crap due today that I didn't do. Now it's noon here, and I haven't done anything. So yeah, I'm feeling guilty, as well...

Aw, I hope you feel better!

I always feel guilty when I stay home from school.
Usually I never do, even if I'm sick. This has been the 2nd time this year I've been absent which is HUGE for me.
I wish I didn't feel guilty, because it's ridiculous, but I still do anyway. It's a pain though. lol

Aww, thanks. I hate missing school, even when I'm really sick and there's no way that I would make it through the day. Cause then I go back the next day and I have so much crap to make up... Oh well. Hehe. Don't feel guilty, it sounds like you deserved the day off!

Yes!!! That's EXACTLY how I feel about it too.
I hate missing school even if I'm really sick like that. I'm really anal about missing work too, and I don't want to have to do all kinds of extra things the next day that I could have just done the day before when I was supposed to.
Everyone always makes fun of me for that.
I'm so glad someone else understands!

Aw in which case, thank you very much! It sounds like you deserved the day off too. Sometimes you can only accumulate so much work and sickness before you say 'that's enough' and just focus on yourself for the day and not receive more ridiculous demands from school.

Re: Oh Shush

Aww thank you very much!
I wasted most of my day off by sleeping though.
I think going to the Art Museum would have definitely made the day more interesting!

*kisses you*
Because you need to remember that school is not life.
Not even have of it.
And it's okay to miss it, because essentially it isn't important at all.
Your needs come before school, they always should.
Enjoy your day off sweety.
I'm sure it's been better than any school day would have been

Aww I know sweetie, you made such good points today while we were talking.
I agree with you.
I just can't help the way I feel about it sometimes.
I wish I could though! It sucks.
I was a lovely 6 hours of sleep though I have to say!
And it's always quite useful to be well rested.
*smiles and kisses you back slowly*

Sometimes, on weekends, i force myself to wake up from luxurious hours of sleep
Only because i feel like i am sleeping the day away
And that makes death come faster

Statistically, the average person sleeps away nearly 30 years of their lifetime. (And that's for people who work 9-5!)

30 years?

Well, if you're sleeping in someone's arms at least that's time well spent.
It's those nights alone that are a waste. lol
